An extraordinary stay of art, culture and beauty

Originally built in 1803, this beautiful ‘Archontiko’ was restored as a home to all its former glory, in 2010 and since then guests are invited to enjoy Hydra’s renaissance and the exclusivity of staying in one of the island’s stately homes.

The mansion was originally the home of Frangiscos Voulgaris family, the bay of Hydra in Turkish rule and moreover, just here, the famous treatment on the rebellion of 1831 against Kapodistrias, was signed.

Loft D’art undertook the complete redesign of Hydrea’s identity. Our study led us to create an elegant brand that would promote the luxurious aesthetic of this boutique hotel. The cosmopolitan element is also highlighted through the logo, as it is an inextricable part of the island’s history – a manmade Eco point that is indissolubly linked to the country’s naval history.
