Twenty8 is the umbrella that houses the Record Label and the Recording Studio in the area of Maroussi, in Athens.
The Label emerged as an extension of the Studio which was designed by Roger D’ Arcy, who also marked the studios of Rainmaker, Crystalphonic, Magneto Electric Works, Black Rock Studios etc.
Twenty8 is a multiplex studio, inspired by New York’s loft like rehearsal facilities. It can be used mainly for rehearsals of all kind of bands, live recording & production, seminars, artistic showcases and private events. The Studio facilities of this great studio have been designed to contemporary international standards by Roger D’Arcy, (managing director and senior designer at Recording Architecture Limited, London) in collaboration with Athens-based architect, Paraskevi Gogorosi. Roger D ‘Arcy has assets of over 500 recording studios worldwide and is the author of “RA The Book” alongside Hugh Flynn. The Sound Engineering was developed by Holger Thiele former Audio Engineering and Technology School of ISAE in Los Angeles USA and with over 20 years’ experience in audio business productions in America and Europe.The construction project was developed by “Papadopoulos Eleftherios Construction” and by «1plus1Architecture». Twenty8 Studio as completed is an outstanding example of quality acoustic architecture with top class services in a very inspiring, functional & comfortable environment
The Twenty8 Design includes the harmonious combination of two numbers (2 and 8) through the creation of a symbol that reflects the professionalism and quality of excellence that both companies have (Record label and recording studio)
We have chosen a color combination that emphasizes creativity and consistency by targeting the sector in which Twenty8 operates.
